The Biography of
EKS:
-
In 1973, Reza
Producing Co. established to produce some spare parts of
Paikan car and Wire Harness was one of the mentioned
company’s productions, which was produced in a workshop.
-
In 1979, Reza
Producing Co. became nationalized and its name was changed
to Iran Car Spare Parts Producing Co. (IAP).
-
In 1987, the
producing workshop of Wire Harness while transferring to its
new place, changed to a specialty workshop and the producing
factory of Wire Harness was nominated to produce Wire
Harness for all cars.

In 1997,
considering the increase in the Wire Harness producing
factory’s production, its name was changed to
Electric Khodro Shargh
Co.
-
In 1999, with
regard to the technology & consuming raw materials and in
order to become more specialized in production, Wire Harness
department was separated into two factories and was
reorganized.

In 2000, with
quality promotion and the producing methods improvement, the
Company was internationally introduced as the manufacturer
of Wire Harness for cars.

In 2001, the
manufacturing project of the Wire Harness for Peugeot 206
was put in the agenda.
-
In 2001, the
company was successful in the obtaining ISO 9002 from DNV
Co., Netherlands.

In
2004, the company has 3 different plants. The products of
one of these plants is exported to Europe.

In 2004,
the company was selected as the best manufacturer in IRAN.
-
In 2004,
the company managed to acquire grade A of SAPCO and
international standard ISO/TS 16949:2002.
